Don Thornton
As I begin the third decade of my photographic career, I look back at all the changes that has taken place. I started with film and now I am entering the digital age.
I am thankful for all the training I had in film as it now can carry over into digital.
I have always tried to look at the things around me that others would walk by and not see, this has been my goal from the beginning. I try to put my inner feelings into each photograph I make.
During my career I have received many honors, purchase awards, best of show, merit, first place My latest awards have been 2003 first place New Mexico Magazine, Juror’s Choice Award, Colorado State Fair 2003.
I have judged photography, been a consultant to other photographers and artists.
Taught photography classes (beginning and advanced).
